John Malcom- A British customs official. He was the most famous person to be tarred and feathered.
Lt. Col. James Chalmers- was a Commander of First Battalion of Maryland Loyalists and the writer behind the pamphlet "Plain Truth".
William Franklin - the Governor of New Jersey and the illegitmate son of Benjamin Franklin. He was a devoted Loyalist who never saw eye to eye with his father.
Thomas Hutchinson- was a Boston merchant who was governor of Massachusetts. His house was looted and he was hanged for his pro- British views.
